I have a 10oz Polaris container that the label has come off of. The content is green. I got it with a 1996 Explorer 400 4x4. I am looking for something to put in the rear end/transmission of my 1997 Polaris Xplorer 500 4x4. Someone had said I needed chaincase lube for that compartment. Any help would be appreciated. I am just trying to do a complete check list on it before I put it to the test. If I don't get the answer here I will ask my Polaris dealer next week. Thanks.

 

Don't play around trying to figure out what it is. Just go out and buy the right stuff for it.

 

Not bad advice and that it what I will do next week, but I was almost 100% sure that someone could tell me on here

 

I don't know about green, but I know polaris chaincase lube is purple.
