Correct, Duneaholic. Cops are just people with a job to do, and just like the rest of us they too can have a bad day once in a while. I don't believe there's a one of us who couldn't say that a cop hasn't given us an undeserved break at some point in our lives. We as Americans are so spoiled into believing that when things go wrong it's always somebody elses fault. As had been stated in this thread before, "if you break the law then you better be prepared to suffer the consequences". I can't say that I agree with every law or even how the"system" works with and interprets them at times, but if we didn't have something in place could you imagine what a chaotic nightmare we would be living in. The line has to be drawn somewhere and that line must be enforced and protected by someone. Yes, it's human nature to rebel against authority, but without it where would we all be? My thanks to those who sacrifice/d so that I can live in a relatively safe and free country. Keep up the good work and if we get out of line let us know about it so we don't ruin the freedoms we have!!!

let's use some logic here.

-if it's ILLEGAL to ride on the road then i don't think it matters if you are doing "under 20 miles per hour for 400 feet to get to your house." it's still illegal to ride your ATV ON THE ROAD DING-DONG!

-YES cops have more important things to do BUT, as someone else wrote i think on page one, YOUR ABNOXIOS NEIGHBOR is more than likely to blame with all their calls to the Dept complaining about their ABNOXIOS NEIGHBOR (YOU BOZO!) RACING DOWN THE STREET AT 20MPH!

-he could have (and should have IMO) given you a ticket. you are such an ungreatful tini-bopper YOU SHOULD HAVE GOT ONE!

does any of this LOGIC register? do you have the BRAIN CAPACITY to digest any of the above?

the Police are here to do THEIR BEST. EVERY cop i know is honest, hard working, and is willing to protect even abnoxios civilians like yourself.

they are GOOD PEOPLE and don't deserve that crap i've read in the last 4 pages.

well thru some effort we now have a ordanance to be able to ride out of town to do some ditch cruising .rules state max speed of 10 MPH , and obey all traffic signs .also try to get to know your local cops that helps alot .

 

With that attitude, I'd say there are some cops out there that will return the favor to you and probably not in a good way either!!!
