I would not let a spark plug change your mind about the scrambler... It is a great machine.. I bought mine new in 99 and have had no problems with it. You can get to the spark plug with out having to remove every thing but I like to make sure that it is clean and nothing falls in when the plug is removed. I would still buy another scrambler.

I just bought 2 scramblers off of ebay . a 2002 and a 2003. It took me a while to change the plug. What a drag. hope we never foul one on the trail. Be sure to take the right tools to remove front fenders and gas tank. I am going to change all my torx screws to regular heads and carry a 1/4 inch drive rachet. Like the fact that Polaris is mostly made in USA but the Japs do make it easier to do simple maintenance. I should only take about 1/2 hr to change once you gett the hang of it.
