Default Towing tooowing

they can pull way more than the recomended rating. my kodiak 400 will pull our 2000# trailor like it wasn't even there. has no problem pulling three times that amount in low. but will take lots of room to stop. atv wagon.com has electronic trailer brake control box for atv trailers with brakes

Towing ratings mean nothing,
With the 2003 Trailblazer 400 2x4 below I pull my 20 foot Hurricane Deck Boat at 4500lbs around the yard, and down the road without problems. I also mow 5 acres with a 5 foot Trailmower for the last 2 years that weighs 380lbs.
Still on the original belt too, Same piston!

Usually a straight axle machine will have a higher tow rating because the weight is transferred directly to the ground through the axle housing and tires rather then through the A arms shocks and springs and then the tires.
i dont believe that its the "towing" rating with the SRA and the IRS its more or less of the toung weight
