Hey guys,

My expedition's speedo says it goes 56-58, My GPS says it only goes 51-53. But it only had around 500ft accuacy at the time. The speedo also says my boss does 51-53 but the GPS says 42-45, is the GPS (which isn't horribly accurate) right, or is the Speedo right? thanks alot.

The 99 and newer speedos seem to be very accurate as long as you are on the stock tire size.

they are quite accurate, have timed it with my truck, my girlfriend's car and another friends truck and it was within a couple mph of each. and i have stock tires on it. This may sound like a dunb question if i put 27 inch tires on it would it read slower or faster than i am really going?

It will read slower. Slower rpm on the bigger diameter tires = slower speedo reading

There speedos must be out of wack cause I'm hearing of H.Os hitting 67 mph.Get in your car on the freeway and do 67 mph than look out to the side and try to imagine a utility bike staying beside you!Yeh right.
