I hate to burst your bubble, but a Scrambler is a whole lot fasterthatn an EX.The EX runs in the neighborhood of 60-65(65 being downhill=).The Scrambler wll run 70.

I'm not sure about the EX, but the 500 Scrambler will outrun the 400 Scrambler when both are stock. I'm sure you are aware of how easily a 2 stroke is to modify though, and then the 500 won't touch it.

The 400 is also noticeably lighter. Less weight = quicker handling.

In an all out drag,I beleive a EX will beat any stock Scrambler,400 or 500cc,

actually the 400 Scrambler 2 wheel drive will beat a 400EX in a 500 foot grass drag, so won't and Xpress 400. Saw it myself, it beat it in several runs with different people running it, by a few lengths.

All I know is that a 400 scrambler a bit modded will not be very far from a stock banshee (we raced today). Uphilling...nothing to do about it, the shee is the king (even better than a 400YZF...)

i had thought of the raptor but deceided against it for now because of where we ride in mud and tight trails from what i read on the raptor its more for racing then causual trail riding my brother has the EX thats why i threw that one in and he dosent really have a problem unless we are in the deep mud i want to stay with polaris but need something that will keep up the trailboss couldn't the dust was settled when i got there
