I have a 500 sportsman that when in forward, acts the same as in reverse without the override button pressed. Just wondering if anyone has herd of this before and if so any ideas how can i fix it. Thanks alot.

 

I had a 94 250 Trailblazer it did it when I drowned it on hard rides. I could push the override button and it would run fine till it dried out. Does yours run like it should when you push the button? Mine had a short in the switch for the reverse.

 

Easy things to check, ETC adjustment, spark plug wires, air filter, air box to carb boot.
