Price isn’t a factor; witch one would you pick, and why? This may have been brought up before but I couldn’t find it, and it’s getting close to time for me to purchase one. So any help would be helpful. I am really more interested in the X2 but everyone is being tight lipped about them and I am not sure about the cargo boxes when in the 2 up position. It looks like you loose all your cargo area in the back. I really don’t like riding with big boxes in the front. Any input on the X2 would be helpful also.

I just purchased the X2. In the 2-up position you still have some room on the sides and maybe 4-6 inches in the back of room. Enough probably to stash small items. I ride wife and it does really well. This is my first quad so I don't really have anything to comapre it to. I bought it because I wanted a 2 up ATV and I liked the fact that it could x-form into a truck when the wife is not with me. I am thinking of getting a box for the front so I can carry more things with us when the wife comes along. Also, the quad seems to get really good mileage on a tank of gas. All in all it is a good ATV. I was intent on buying a Suzuki King Quad until I saw the X2. It obviously does not have the power of the KQ, but the fact that I could ride 2up overcame my lust for power

All in all a good quad. I hope it will last for a long time...

Thanks for the reply cfwilkins. Do you feel cramped when riding 2 up, and how is the steering when riding 2 up? If I get the X2 I will be doing a lot of 2 up riding with the wife. This is something I have not done much of in the past because she has had her own 4wheeler. So I am concerned about how we will feel after a long days ride.

teamwfo I think it is very roomy. My wife and I are not exactly small people and we fit very good on it. In fact I think there is probably room for another small child as well. Putting a child on as well might get cramped but 2 up I think the room is more than adequate. I really love ours. I would definitely recommend going to the stealer and checking it out. I have 2.5 hours on mine so hopefully I will finish the break in on it this weekend...then we can see what it really has!!

There was an issue on the X2, something not offered on it yet that is on the sportsman line... surprised me when I read it, as I remember, but for the life of me I can't remember the specifics. Anyone?

Go back out and put "x2" in the search box. It will bring up previous threads on the x2. I think what you are looking for concerns something about the x2 having fulltime AWD. I didn't have time to go back and research it myself; don't remember what conclusions were reached on this. The thread was about halfway down on the first page that came up on the search page. Hope this helps.

What is the big deal with 4 wheel EBS? This is the first quad I have ever owned. I believe I only have the 2 wheel EBS version. I think the 4 wheel EBS is coming later this year on the X2.
