Wheelies

A auto can beat a manual off the line. What a CROCK.When I raced jviper and we both started at the same time I was gone he never was in front of me.The only reason a auto might beat a manual off the line is because the rider of the manual might have to let of the gas a little so he doesn't flip over!

The reason I always talk bad about jviper is because he is like my best freind. So we kinda have a rivalry going.I know he is not the best rider nor am I but I just like to poke fun at him.Trust me he gets his fair share of bashing in to just not on the furom.

OK. Let's start it, those aren't thoughts, it's reality. I saw it (and filmed it).
Here's how it went.
We rode on the trail to a "sandpit" where there's a big grass field, that has more grip than the sand.
So both me and Brian (Xplor) decided to practice our wheelies, in front of the camera (we won't publicize the footage for reasons that you are about to read
). I started, first wheelie, easy, the front end rushes up, I fin the balance point and ride on like that for...the whole field, say 2 miles
.Kidding.
I could get the front end up...but way too fast to my liking, so I let off the gas and it dropped back down as fast as it came up. When I practiced wheelies standing up (both feet on the pegs, not on the grab bar), it seemed easier than seating. Well, after some chicken tries (see above decription), I stopped and let Brian take over. hehe. Polaris power!! ahah. I can't honestly describe what I saw caus' everyone in this forum is gonna beat me, but the front wheels lifted 1" on the highest wheelie "ca spinne trop!!" ahah. It was so funny hearing the engine scream and just plain flat accelerating...hehe.
But this is an exception.
We both did pull better wheelies than that. On the scram, I almost ended on my butt once, at the end of a very short climb (2 quad lengths), I didn't let off the throttle, and that time, I really thought I was gonna wreck my friend's quad. But no.
We really have to practice wheelies...on sunday?
