idling problem for Explorer 300
#1
I just bought an 99 Explorer 300 4x4 and it runs great except it wont idle. Is there an easy adjustment for this. I do live at 6,000 feet and will ride alot at around 8,000 to 9,000 feet. (I live in the mountains of Colorado) Wondering what else adjustments might be needed to ride at this altitude.
Thanks for any help.

Never mind, I found the idle screw. I am sure that was many of your thoughts as you read the post. Did still have one question though, as is obvious I am not much of a mechanic but I was wondering if a bad starter can hurt anything else on the 4-wheeler like a starter could hurt the fly-wheel in a truck. This one sounds really bad when I start it. Would I be better off just starting it with the pull cord?
