hey guys, i drove the sportsman for a few rides without any pads on the brakes. so it was metal on metal. do you think i need to get new rotors now that i got new EBC Severe duty pads? or just use what i got?
if they need to be changed, where do you think i should look on the net and how difficult to change them? thanks

If you only rode it a couple times the rotors should be ok, far as changing them i dont know yet havent needed to on mine. Noticed that you have a 2 inch spacer lift on the front or your atv, any problems with the lift yet? and is it only on the front?

no problems with the lift, works like a charm. no more tire rub when hitting a bump or a small jump. levels the quad out almost perfect even with a winch and brushguard on it.

hey bear i changed my pads at 3000 miles i had no problems but i figured it was a good time to change them i did the left side first and they were about worn out, well when i pulled the right side down the one pad was almost gone i mean the lining was gone and the metal backing plate was about as thick as a sheet of paper!!!! never made a sound never pulled to that side and never hurt the rotor!!! put the new pads on and it is still ok 1000 miles later..
