250 trailblazer belts

As long as the seal on the belt cover is good you will not have any problems with water unless you get up to the seat. As for mud it is the best 2wd mudder in my opinion. I had one for about 2 yrs and took it in the mud all the time with no problems at all. It has plenty of power to keep the tires spinning. If you are worried buy an extra belt and keep it with ya. Is the trailblazer new or used? If used I would replace it anyways. If new dont worry about anything. These are very tough machines.

Welcome to the forums.
Curious as to who told you that. They can go through mud and water. Depending on what year model you have, if the belt gets water in the housing, there is a red drain plug to let it out. Put it in nuetral and rev it up a few times to dry it out. Replace the plug and go. Like 2many said, as long as the seal is good, you shouldn't have any problems.
