Default scrambler 400 rough handling

i was just wondering do all scrambler 400's handle rough. Because with mine even when u are going slow over buddy terain or just over a little pothole, the bike hits really hard or the bike shakes alot. My friends can over potholes a bit fast some times but i have to crawl over them and it still rides terrrible over them. ohter scrambler owners please replay and tell me about your scarmbler's riding

i think i found the problems. i needs my a-arms greased tomorrow and they seem a bit sloppy.so when i tighten them up then she shouldn't ride as rough but yeah they do ride a bit rougher than other bikes

My scrammy handles amazingly smooth... i dunno what year yours is, but if it's a crambler it has the long travel so that's not it... i'd suggest checking the tie rods also as i have a freind w/ a sport 400L which handles kinda rough in comparrison, and that's what is wrong w/ his. (new ones are on the way) honestly, my scrambler is even smoother than my Pred,, i say check your tie rods, maybe adjust your preload on the back, grease everything then let us know. is there play in your handle bars? i know the steering post bushings on older than like... '02ish scrams could go and that would further make the front end wander... keep us posted!

my tie rods arn't bad but how much should i adjust the preload in the back.now it's up as far as it can go so should i adjust it half way or less than that or more than that. i'm going to grease her everwhere and the a-.arms needs to be greased. also my handlebars were loose but my dad tighten them up but they vibrates and shakes sometimes when she's just idiling or stop
