Default NGK Iridium Plugs

Thought I'd post the following re fitment of both an Iridium plug and uprated EPI Pink Primary spring:

Removed both the footguard and cover as wanted to remove the original ('03) belt to check it's and both the clutch assemblies pulley friction surfaces condition, found the belt to be 1/64" over the wear limit of 1 1/8" noting from the Haynes OWM #2508 that they only allow 1/16" for wear from new, blew alot of belt residue out of the primary clutch and reinstalled the original belt, new spring etc.

First impressions with the new spring installed were wow!, alot more bottom end pull especially on climbing gradients with the motor revving out nicely, also installed a Denso Iridium plug a few days earlier to the spring and noticed a slight performance increase from that too, may well be due to it's 0.4mm dia. electrode giving a bigger spark kernel to the NGK's @ 0.6mm.

Note: The Haynes OWM only caters for removal/installation of the clutch assemblies and NOT getting into them etc.
