secondary setting

Default secondary setting

As I look at the secondary hole selections it appears that 1-1 and 2-2 Have the same amount of preload. When you move one the other moves the same distance the other way cancelling out the adjustment. Doesn't seem right but that's the way it looks.

Default secondary setting

You have to hold the halves from turning after you preload until you get the helex down and the clip back in.
Set it at 2-2.You may need an extra set of hands to hold the halves with tension on them while you push the helex down and clip it.

I don't think you get what I'm saying. As you look down as you are about to push the sheaves together, move from 1-1 to 2-2 and pay attention to the starting point before preload it appears to be the same making the preload identicle.

You wont feel any differance by hand on it if that is what you mean.

there is a difference you can measure it with a fish scale if you want to double check.
