I presently own a '05 Suzuki King Quad...until recently have loved it. However, a freind owns the new 800 Polaris. The ride was the most comfortable ever. What else can you guys tell me about this machine? I am considering dumping the King Quad and getting one of these. I am a little sceptical as I have heard negative things about polaris.

any suk i rode in the past w/ not the k.quad though are good bikes. i like my 800 because it has the best ride and and is true awd w/ one switch. the irs is real good in all trail cond. the only down side off the 800 is the fuel milage. got 16 once when easy going, but when you play it sucks it down. but what fun it is.

Pastor,

I was also sceptical about buying a polaris at first, but after riding literally every other new atv out there I could not find any that was more comfortable, easy to use, good looking, and competively priced... I'm honestly not sure that polaris is the same quality as say (honda) but you have to decide if you want a bulletproof atv that rides like a tank, or if you want a decent atv that rides like a dream! If you find a good dealer and buy the extended warranty you really have no worries! Good luck!!

well i see you came out of hiding lol jk. well i have seen may 800 and 700 efis go out the door and everybody loves them. there has been issues on here that i have never seen on any i have dealt with. there is good and bad in all makes that is why we have so many to choose from. there are some that will never buy another polaris ever again and then theres people like me that wouldnt have anything else. i like the power the comfort the pulling power and durability that i have experienced. its like cars and trucks i drive chevys u couldnt give me a ford well maybe so i could trade it in on another chevy. ha ha. buy one you wont regret it.......

I'd say if you're worried about the brand, just make sure you have a good dealer who you trust and will take care of you and any possible hiccups along the ownership lifecycle, cause nothing is perfect.

The Sportsman is a cool bike, has lots of power (maybe even enough power to pull you off of one brand and onto another).

Life is too short... F -it all and no regrets...

I would look at the Outlander 800. It is super sweet for the same money (or less).

Thats about the most true statement i have read

if you ride, you will break chit on whatever you ride, and you will have to fix it.
