Default Help...Outlander 800 or Polaris 800...

The title says it all...I want performance but...something built like a tank. I think the Polaris EFI has it all. But, I have been reading ALOT of good things about the Outlander. the thing is most of the sport/utility bikes suffer in the tough department. Been there and done that. looking for something that has "the right stuff".

the difference in these two machine's sport riding ability is slight. The Bombardier has a slight edge in acceleration, but the Sportsman is far smoother riding, and handles at least as good even in spite of its weight. The Sportsman is also built with heavier duty components, and the sportsman chassis have always been reliable, and are in fact tanks. Bottom line is: Neither will do you wrong, but for my $, the Sportsman 800EFI is the machine to go with. About the only thing i'd take the bombadier over the sportsman for is if you never do anything but fly down old fire roads... but if you want a heavy duty unit as well, the Sportsman seems to offer the best overall balance. scam. is telling you like it is.you really have to either try them both out and make ur own choice. your spending alot of money on this purchase so make the right one for you. if your going to do alot of high end speed runs then maybe the out. is the way to go. i heard some where that the bomb. was starting to break frames, i dont know if its true or not, but its alum. vs. heavy duty steel ( the big weight dif.)so w/ alll that power and pounding on it you never know.if your going to work this wheeler evrything i read tells me the sport. is stronger in that aspect of it. good luck w/ what ever you get.
