I don't think that anybody mentioned that you could get a new truck...just joking. But seriously it would solve your problem. Remove the tailgate, put the bike in and strap it down...you should have tie downs on your bed. Or like the others said you can always try backing it in and then putting the gate up. Or you could get a new truck.

 

how will that guarddog help? his atv fits in his truck. he just needs a hitch extension so his tailgate will not hit his travel trailer when turning.

 

Larv, If the tail gate removal doesn't work or use a hitch extender (83" length ATV in 78" bed). You have the correct solution. Make ramp inside the bed to bring the front end up higher. Warning, if you do it too high you may not be able to park in a garage at your house. Also be careful with ATV bumper vs. back window. I have seen it, but never done it myself..

 

I'm in the process of building a ramp for the p.u. bed. And, yes, I see the problem with the whole cluster fudge not fitting thru the garage door. I also see the problem with the p.u. window.

The ramp won't be pretty but hopefully it will work when done.
