Purolator pl14610 pure one filter-best in the business.

You can walk in any decent auto parts store and some Walmarts and buy oil and a filter for your Sportsman that is the same quality and in many cases higher quality than the Polaris stuff for less money.

I see no reason to buy buy oil and filters from a Polaris dealer and pay their extreme prices.

The ONLY Polaris fluid that I would reccomend that anyone buy is the fliud for the front diff. on the newer machines with the Hilliard in the center.

I soon as I find a 100% perfect replacement for it I will post it.

So far in my experiments Castrol Syntec 5w20 is doing OK but it is too soon to say for sure

you can use a Wix 51358 on the 500 or a Nappa or carquest equivelent 1358.
(same maker)
