New 850 Sportsman???
I like the new look (05-06). although I can't say that I don't like any of the looks they've had.... miss the built in tubular brush gaurds of the early 90s... but the new look seems like aggressive, current styling to me. Looks much better than lots of other brands in my opinion, especially they Bombs.

I think that the next step in advancing ATV technology will be in frame design. I might be wrong on this, but this appears to be where the industry is innovating.

New 850 Sportsman???
This was definately a true 850cc...verified on the VIN. But it is probaly just a test mule and we may never see it... I think its cool they were testing a sportsman with a some kinda hybrid lighweight frame, a-arms and hydraulic transmission. But that I don't care about...I just hope that 850cc engine makes it to production...probaly wishful thinking though. By the way, here in my state there are no restrictions on atvs...weight, cc, width...they all can be street legal and drive all trails.

All-terrain vehicles (ATVs) are motorized, flotation-tired vehicles
with at least three, but no more than six low pressure tires, with an
engine displacement of less than 800 cubic centimeters and total dry
weight of less than 900 pounds. ATVs with a total dry weight of 900
or more pounds are classifed as ORVs.
Straight from the ATV regulations Book. You can look it up in any state DNR ATV laws and regulations online book. Every state is the same, except there are a few with 700cc limits!
