Thurs (4:00) Rolled it myself

Crushed everything from the left to the right handlebar and the tachometer to the gas tank opening. Hahaha not bad for 24 hrs.

U dumbass 24 yr old yankee aint never been in the KY. Got some nuts and look what it cost ya. Some one here will tell ya where to get at least the cosmetics fixed.

OUCH!!! MY 800 IS ABOUT 2 WEEKS OLD AND LAST WEEK I WAS RIPPIN DOWN A DIRT ROAD about 55-60, WENT AROUND A TURN AND BLAMMO THERES A TREE DOWN ACROSS IT. I MANAGED veer towards the right where it was up off of the ground higher and ONLY RIPPED MY HEADLGHT POD AND OFF AND GET THROWN FOR 10 FT OR SO. STILL SORE. I ONLY ENDED UP NEEDING A NEW LIGHT $70 AND LOWER BLACK POD PIECE $40. I REALLY LUCKED OUT. PLUS I JUST GOT MY $25 (oops sorry about the caps)off certificate in the mail so.....

Anyway, Just be glad you werent hurt. Anything heavier thatn you that would pile up on ya could be a disaster. Doesnt it just make you sick to tear up a brand new machine though?

 

my buddy flipped his brand new sp500efi down a hill about 15 times and did 5000$ damage

 

As far as parts go, metricpowersports.com seems to be a good place to get a bit of a discount on new stuff, but I juet get em from my local dealer and try to talk em down a bit.

Does anyone else have any good wreck stories to share? Try to make us all not feel so bad/sore........

Wouldnt you have been at the dealership when pops rolls it a couple handfull of times. How crazy could your dad have been driving on this thing. First of all it was brand new, Still needed to be broke in and it wasnt his..... But hey even after rolling it a handfull of times. Your able to take it out and ride it the next day (Thurs 4 oclock).... Where you say you roll it and do all this damage... Yep not believing it.
