Default wix part number

I need to do my 1st oil change on my SP 500 What is the wix P/n for the oil filter. also, 2qt. of mobile one should work as well right?

I can't remember the WIX number right off but the Fram is 6017A.

Use any good synthetic oil. Moblie One is fine. I use Castrol Syntec 5w50.

Don't let any of these people convince you that the Polaris oil is better. It is NOT.

Fram could not pay me enuff to use their CRAP!!! but I can use that to cross for the wix thanks! I only trust 2 oils Valvoline and mobile.

Thats good to hear!! I wish more people new their filters were junk!

I buy the NAPA gold filters which are made by WIX. They are closer to me. Would also check & clean air filter if needed, also grease any points, check coolant level, clean rad if you have been doing any mud. Check owners manual for any other reccomended stuff.

I'll second that fram is junk!

Wix 51358 is corect and two qts of mobil 1

some independent engineers got together and decided once and for all who made the best oil filter out there for gasoline motors. they were sick and tired of every brand out there saying they were the best. if i recall correctly mobil 1 was number one oil filter in overall testing. wix and purolator pure one were the next best filters to buy...........fram came in dead last.....................
