Default Set up for pulling?

Ok guys i have about 600 miles on my '06 700efi. i am ready to turn it into a pulling machine. The only mods on it now are a K&N, Mud Lites, and a home made suspension lock out. What mods should i add to make it pull even better than it does now? Please help out a new Polaris owner.

Default Set up for pulling?

My bike is a pull bike as well..I need to get some pictures up..oh well. Take out your rear shocks and put in some 1" square tubing instead. Strap your front end down somehow to the bike sits level. Make a weight bar for weight on the front..get a clutch kit..an adjustable hitch is a plus..mudlights work good on soft pulling surfaces but suck on hard surfaces..holeshot tires work well..

you already have the lo ratio clutch, which is great, but i would go with the heelklicker cluth kit, because of the adjusability. if you play with it you can keep it at the rpm where it pulls best, probebly around 4500 for max torque...good luck and keep us posted with results...

There is alot of room for improvment in the cluthcing dept. For starters you are going to want to run somthing that isn't going ot upshift fast ro much at all, so you can stay in a lower gear while acclerating instead of loosing all of your power once your secondary clutch opens up. . So I would suggest a shallow helix with a very stiff spring. Secondly to help keep the belt form slipping I would go with a stiffer primary spring and heavier weights. This would help alot in pulling applications. Please let me know if you are interested in more hlep with this set-up we would be gald to help.

Thanks for the help guys. Speedwerx I would be interested to hear more of what you would recomend for primary and weights. You are right about the secondary it opens so fast that i end up loosing momentum. I would like to find something that will help me stay in the 4100- 4700 rpm range for atleast a little while longer.
