Default Wrist strap Kill Switch??

After flipping my ATV this weekend I started to think, what if I was trapped with a tire on me? This EFI will run upside down, sidways you name it. So I thought about adding a wrist strap kill switch. I don't plan on flipping again but....

Any thoughts good or bad on this idea?

First off, Its a great idea on any machine that "rides you" more than you ride it to have a tether kill switch.

You prolly wont want to "strap" it to your wrist though..try your belt loop or chest protector.

id say you cant really go wrong with it. most just find it annoying and just want to jump on and off without hesitation.

as said on your wrist kinda sucks, have a quick latch type thing and hook it to a loop on yourself instead

I have one on my drag bike, I would do it, it is pretty cheap insurance, you can find them on EBAY pretty cheap sometimes too.

My dealer told me he had a guy sell his because when it flipped the tires laned on him and removed most of the skin on his chest. He needed skin graphs!

That would be enough to convense me. If nothing else it could keep someone else from getting hurt if a few other people ride it.

Well, if you were planning on riding some wheelies, then you could just strap it onto your handlebars... cuz sometimes you jsut have to jump off. But if you are riding trails or whatever, go ahead, strap it on. It doesn't hurt.
