Warn a2500 mini switch

Warn a2500 mini switch
A friend of mine just bought a quad with a warn A2500 winch with a 6ft remote control switch. He was wondering if he can simply disconect the remote and put in a new warn "mini rocker switch"?

i have the remote cord that i didnt use. so i would say yes you can put one on. i think there around 60.00 bucks. i was thinking of putting my control on ebay,never going to use it.
