aaen has a one piece but there name is stamped in the metal under the heat sheild atleast mine is. the mount and exhaust flange are not aaen either and look like no hotseat I have seen so it looks to be hpd.
how is it mounted to the frame by the shifter? with springs if so its hpd.

Your right it does look very silimlar to the hpd! heres the pics of the mount, it has a spring connection and this little high rise with a hole in the top, i think a rubber grommet goes in there? pipe pipe pipe pipe . The exhaust mounting flange i believe is not stock, it has 2 rings, one that is solid and more away from the engine, the other is the same metal but has been cut at an angle so it like a circlip, it is hard to explain without a visual, I will send you a pic of it when I get the cyl back tommorow. How much hp and rpm am I gaining with the pipe if it is hpd? Well thanks alot, Brian

I tried, They dont really say much. They only talk about there kits and what they make for hp, They seem to be making very good hp. Thanks alot for the pipe info, How do you like your pipe? What would you recommend for me to do with it? use it or get a different one? Also what kind of silencer, Amount of loudness doesnt matter in my area. Thanks again, Brian

I really like it alot...I think it's one of the best pipes made!! The pipe alone should be worth around 8 HP...then with porting by Rick or HPD should be another 10. A good silencer is the FmF turbine core 2..kinda expensive but if sound and a spark arrestor are a must then it's the best one IMO. There's others out there too that are good.

This came off of HPD's website....
400 Sports or Scramblers Trail or Trail Mod Pipes
This is an excellent all around pipe. Produces 7 to 9 more peak horsepower. Good low end with excellent mid and top. Also good for use on trail ported engines as used by GNCC Champ Dave Heider and other top competitors such as Neil Belcher. Runs 6750 to 6850 RPM. Supplied with mounting hardware and jets. NOTE: Clutch kits required.
