is there a way to check the tranny fluid in the sportsman 500 with out haveing to drain out all the fluid? i havent opened the fill check bolt on the side because it is so low in the tranny im worried about oil coming out. i really only want to see how the oil is.

 

The oil level should be at the bottom of the fill plug hole. if you remove the fill plug oil shouldnt come out, You may get a very little,if alot comes out its over full.
