Polaris Bashing!!!!!
There are brands that I perfer over other brands. Example, first quad was a honda, had it for 5 years and only replaced the chain, sproketts, brakes, and rear axle bearings. Id consider buying another honda. Had an arctic cat next, nothing but problems, front ball joints broke repeatedly, rear brake setup broke twice, would not start in temp below 32F, when climbing steep hills oil would somehow make it into the carb and would stall engine, voltage regulator burnt twice, and the list goes on. So I will NEVER own another cat, and since the engine was made by suzuki, I will NEVER consider looking at a suzuki. The 2 yamahas I have now (01 raptor & 2000 grizz) no problems yet. Im sure Ill purchase another Yamaha. But as far as polaris, never had one, but my neighbor had a 700 or 800 (not sure) that had lots of power but never heard of any breakdowns.

brand bashing is only fun if its among friends. I tell my friend how slow his banshee is and how all yamahas are slow, then I ride a raptor, I get crap in return because the banshee is faster than me. Its all good fun. But it might not go over so well if a stranger on the trail just stopped to tell me that my bike sucks. I delt with the same crap at an old job of mine. Everyone bashed be for drivin a Civic and not a chevy, ford, or dodge. But I never took the time to argue with the CLOSED MINDED individuals, I'd just tell them "Id try to explaine it to you but you look a little too stupid to understand"
