What kind of four wheeler do you have? I snorkeled mine successfully and may can help you with yours. I would say definetely snorkel the exhuast. You do not want any water getting in your motor.

I am back, and I am ready to ride. I have to go out of town again next Sat. but I am riding somehwere Sunday. I think taz is off too.

There is no need to snorkel the exhaust on a four stroke motor unless you are just trying to keep the mud out of the muffler. Water can not get past the exhaust valve even if you kill the motor.

What happens when the motor stops in the position so that the exhaust valve is open ???

Are you snorkeling or submarining?
Most ATV magazines have these kits listed in them.
