I will give a simpler answer. I would think about 3 feet high on a flat landing.

Any other thoughts...I have not been jumping long.

would depend on speed and angle and all that, experience jumping and many factors.

Depends how you land... Put the rear the stiffest possible (anything else is too soft for even trail riding on my '99), and land rear slightly first. The fronts bottom way easy.

Hey Xpedition~
owww, I'm not sure about your figure...according to my calculations, I got 145.342 feet. That extra .003 feet will cause it to bottom out severely!! HAHAHA

I do not know about the Scrambler, but I have jumped my 2000SP500. Taz and Tony H. were ahead of me on trail 3A at Wolf Pen Gap. When I got to the end of the trail where it hits trail 2, htye were had just finished a jump competition. They told me to try it and showed me where they landed. I went about 100 yards away and nailed the throttle. That little 3 foot hill launched me about 6 feet in the air and I flew a distance of about 35 feet. That may not sound like much, but on a SP500 doing about 35MPH, it scared the hell out of me. Of course trail 3A ends at trail 2 so I landed almost at the tree line, and had to dodge trees as i slid to a stop. Tony and Taz thought it was funny. I attempted to be the man, but it was obvios that I had scared myself, and they were laughing. The funny thing is that my suspension did not bottom. I landed heavy on the rear suspension, and the front came down smooth. My 98SP500 would have bottomed out very hard on a jump like that. If any of you guys ride up at Wolf Pen, try this little jump. You will catch more air than you think.

I screwed up one time playing around on a mound of dirt about 10 feet tall with about a 6 foot table top at the top of it. I had been hitting it just fast enough to come down easy on the downward slope on the other side. The last time I did it I had a little too much throttle on and ended up clearing the bottom of the slope by about 5 feet. It felt like I was falling from the moon! When I hit, I landed a little on the front left wheel and thought I was about to accumulate a pretty bad hospital bill. Luckily I was able to keep it straight and only ended up smashing my visor and face of my helmet against the handle bars. The suspension in the front completely bottomed out. The funniest part was that there was a group of other riders sitting around watching me when it happened. I pulled over by them and immediately broke out a cigarette with all of them just staring at me. Finally one of them said,"You know, I don't think he meant to do that." All I could do was sit and grin back at him and smoke my cigerette (and let my heart slow down a little bit).
