Default just went riding

Hi guys just got back riding with my dad we got a lot of ran today and one of the gravle roads was flooded with about a foot foot and a half of water and we was playing in it and i was on my scrambler and i flew through the water and when i drove out my scrambler was missing out i turned it off and we pulled out the drain plug and tipped it to see if it had water in it and only two little drops came out and we turned it back on and it still missed out so i let it sit there a minute and it finaly worked what to you guys think happened. thanks

When you say "missed out", do you mean the engine was missing, or skipping? If so, you most likely got a small amount of water sucked into the intake. Big splashes makes the water shove all up in the plastic and under the seat and everywhere else you can imagine. Hope this helps.

minus a snorkal, be easy on slamming in the deep holes at high speeds, I've seen quads of every brand cut off and towed back cause it got a big gulp.

antoher thought,,, sometimes water will get into the spark plug boot and cause a similar miss... you might pull that boot off and put some dielectric grease in there to help seal it off....
