Default 2004 TB250, not using oil

2004 Trail Blazer, I bought this new last year in May. It has been rode fairly easy. It is just about empty on its second tank of gas. The oil reservoir is almost full from the dealer. I am concerned it is not getting enough oil. I checked the pump, oil came out the air bleed screw when I opened it up. Do these bikes run that lean on oil? It seems like it is getting oil, some smoke in the exhaust but not much. My Scrambler 400 seems to use a lot more. About the same time on both bikes but the Scrambler needed oil refilled..

It uses very very little oil. You may use 10 tanks of gas to 1 tank of oil. Depending on how much you ride it may be a year or maybe 2 before you have to fill it. It is a very reliable system and works great so dont worry.

The harder you run it the more oil it will use. They tend to be easy on oil.

I'm on my fifth tank of gas or so on my 2006 trailblazer and my oil tank has barely gone done too. My friends that have ridden behind me say that my machine doesn't smoke at all. I use Spectro Sythetic PWC oil. It is obviously using oil or it would have grenaded by now.

They dont really smoke too much either. They tend to smoke more with the regular Polaris injection oil but the Polaris synthetic is low smoke and smells good too.

I am not a fan of the vast majority of the Polaris brand fluids. Most of it is too expensive and not as good as other stuff at a lower price.

However I must admit their two cycle injector oil is good stuff.

I highly reccomend it and I would use nothing else in a two stroke Polaris.
