Tuning a white Bors can for 06 SP 700 EFI
#1
We'll I have my WB can on my 06 700EFI and I'm wondering how many baffel plates will I need to add to get optimal preformance out of my 700 with the 800 header pipe. I'm currently sending my 800 header out for Cermaic coating so I have some time to research the best settings. I've also ordered a baffle plate kit from WB and it should have it mid next week. The kit has 6 more plates so I can go up to 12 total. From what WB CS told me they recomend that I add 12 plates. The only problem with that is the more plates you add the more noise you make. I do a bunch of running in residential areas and don't want to rattle windows as I go by. Sugestions and recomentations appreciated. Thanks

On my 700 with the 800 header I run 10 disc without the baffle. Its a little louder than I want it to be but I can live with it. I had an AAEN and it was super loud and I didn't like it. The white Bros. produced more power than the AAEN.

SP70003 did you try it with12 plates and the baffels? I'm also wondering how much the fact that I have FI will affect my adjustments over yours. Food for throught.
nfox, I just called them to order. The 6 disk kit was $19 plus shipping. I will have the PN next week.

Sounds great!!! I just changed out my spark plugs and my machine with the current mods and it is still a tad on the rich side. Adding more discs should lean me up some i think?
