That was kind of my point. How can the x2 be 802 and the spt non x2 be 802. I think the 800 x2 is going to weigh out more than that.

 

ok this gets better. The spec for the 500 efi x2 for weight on the standard model is 598. They don't even list the deluxe model weight. The standard 800 x2 weight is listed as 757!!!! the deluxe 802. If this true I would like to know how but even if the 800 was the same standard weight as the 500 would not be without some major lightening that puts the deluxe 800 x2 at 843. Dealer guys....splain.

especially the rear end suspension seem very clean and not heavier like i use to think,parts seem lighter than ever.

 

I am by no means in favor of the pred, but it just seems wierd that they could make the outlw less weight its second year out, and have a bigger motor, but yet still have the, after many years, still be chunky...

 

Well if not a misprint it looks like they shaved 10 lbs off the Predator. Its listed at 405 lbs for the 07 but not sure where the difference came. It show it with Dunlop tires and on the specs page lists dunlop tires but on front page it still list maxxis so the weight difference could be with the dunlops.

Kinda surprising to me that the Outlaw got the motor but not the predator. Maybe a light 450 predator in the mix for a early 08

looks like except for the winch, the 06"s have all the goodies of the 07's delux w/out the extra money. i cant see where the extra weight comes in to play though.

 

Looks like the kept old motor in the predator because of price. They lowered the MSRP on the predator for 07 making it the same as a 400ex giving them a under 6k and over 7k quad like most others in the sport class.

 

Thought at the very lest the scram would get EFI it is the same motor as the sportsman would it not make more sense to have them all EFI.
I like the idea of the 525 powered KTM outlaw but that is it

I know the Scram is not a big market but come on it has been too long for just getting bold new graphics and colors
