Default Leaking muffler on TB 250

Since removing my muffler to pull my engine and then reinstalling, I can't seem to get a good seal on the first joint of the muffler. Is there a gasket or some kind of sealer I should be using to fix this?

Nope! The only gasket is the manifold gasket.

Go to an auto supply store and buy some muffler cement. That should do the trick.

Yah but as soon as he starts the quad or takes off the cement will crack off because thats right where the exhaust pivots with the motor.

I see the manual says to replace with a new "packing ring". Sounds like something I will have to buy from Polaris...
