pred air box?

Default pred air box?

well, i just got my twin air clamp on, and i was wondering, do i take off just the tube that goes to the carb or do i take off the whole thing?

I took off the whole thing......but if it fits, you could leave on the box, if you possibly wanted some more protection from mud,etc.....otherwise, loose the weight.

yea, i was thinking of taking it off but then i saw a tube that came from the engine to the air box with a lil screen in front, can i also take it off?

yes you can.........but you have to buy a little filter(uni I think) that goes over it. They sell them at nicholas cycle.

That's your breather tube. Just put a small filter on it and tie it up high out of the way.
If you stand the stock Predator on end the engine oil will flow into the airbox through that breather tube. So strap it up high, with the small UNI filter on its end. You can get the UNI filters at any cycle shop.

so its a lil filter that clamps on to the tube?

The breather filter is a small red/black uni filter.....that has a small hose barb which goes into the hose, and you use a small zip tie to hold it on......

The air filter is just a clamp on filter, that clamps onto the carb via a hose clamp.

just rode da pred today and damn did that thing lag to pick up speed! i have a pp pipe and already jet....... will i have to rejet?

if so, yes you'll need to rejet, to like a 175 main

yea i put the clamp on on and the throttle response wasnt there
