My wifes has a build date of 9-05 and mine 11-05 and they have both had the heat problem, hers had the overheat flashing problem, and they both have had the stalling problem but other than that they have been fine. Polaris is still the way to go in my opinion even with the problems after seeing my buddies that didn't get polaris and have had many more problems than we have.

 

I just got mine on 8/21 and I love it...no issues at all, no stalling or overheating, I'll have to check the date of manufacture on mine.

 

I had a Polaris dealer tell me these problems do not exist. He said he has sold many of the EFI machines and NONE of them have been back under warranty.

As he told me that I noticed his mechanic just rolled his eyes and walked away shaking his head.

I found out later his shop was full of them getting warranty work.

I will never buy anything from him.

Our local dealership is a respectable place and they get my business.
