does any one know a company that does this coating to the header pipes and how much they charge. i dont know of any one in my area that does this kind of work. thanks

I had both of ours done by jet-hot. It was about 120 bucks for both and I also had them done in black. It really helped the heat on leg issue and melting plastic issue a lot.

 

I used moore power coating over Jet hot because they were less expensive and they had faster turn around times. I had my 800 header coated inside and out in black and my heat sheilds dne in the silver color for $130. There a small shop and pride themselves on personal service. Give them a call and tell Chuck that Matt Lohaus sent you. He'll take good care of you. They are also locate din Nebraska so it's an easy ship from either coast.
