2004 500 Sportsman will not idle with the handlebars straight ahead, but crank them all the way to left hard and it idles fine. Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

 

Yes there is an adjuster up by the throttle. If the cable is too tight it will idle up when you turn. You need to turn the adjuster in till it does not do that anymore. Then turn the idle up on the carb till it idles good. You should be ok once adjustments are made.
