I have 25's on my Hawkeye with no rubbing whatsoever, No way i'd put tires that small on a 700.

if having bigger tires has taught me one thing, its that you go deeper when your stuck, nut of course thats the whole idear for us. as long as you stayed w/ the stock front width you can put 27" on if you wanted to w/out much rubbing under compressed condtions.

the 26in only comes in a 9 inch. stock is 8 in. It will definatley rub(espec. when full turn) The newer ones have 26 in tires stock(what did they change to fit them? I will probably go with stock size but they will be bigger anyways because the tread is huge.

The 04 700 comes stock with 25's. If I bought new ones I would go with 26's but the stock 25's have served me just fine both on the trails and in the mud.

I guess my version of atving and yours differ, cuz even my big tires on a little quad don't keep me out of trouble.

I just put a set of 26x9x12 ITP Mudlite XTRs on my "06" 700 EFI with the stock factory aluminum wheels. They fit this model just fine without any rubbing anywhere at anytime. The tread is about twice as deep as the stock PXTs. If your model had the 25" on it stock then there may be a clearance issue, but if it came from the factory with 26"tires I would think the Mudlites should fit just fine. Yes the width is 1" wider but that only requires 1/2" more clearance on the inside.
