Was out riding lastnight nad my 04 700 sp craburated started having major acceleration problems. The bike runs fine until you hit a certain RPM at about 45mph it just craps out, sputters then want to totally die. If you back off the throttle it pops right back on and runs fine. It doesn't matter if you goose it or accelerate slowly it reaches a certain RPM and craps out. Any ideas what's going on?

sounds like a piece of crap in the main jet maybe. if you pull the choke on when it does it it gives it more fuel to see if its starving for gas.

 

Got it guys. Huge crack in the underside of the intake manifold. When I took it off the thing was rotten. That's pretty bad for a 3 year old fourwheeler. I had the same thing happen to my Yama Big bear but it's a 93 and it just happend last year after 13 years of abuse.
