polaris 700 won't start!
I have this used 2002 polaris sportsman 700 and when it runs completely out of gas in the tank on position. It will not start when i put the reserve on or after i fill the tank up. It is as if it is vapor locked or something. It doesn't do it all the time but about every fourth time. I try to keep gas in it, but the wife and kids all ride and it's hard to watch the tank level. The only way i can get it to start is to hit it with a lot of starting fluid. This can't be good for it and can't be normal. Does anyone have any ideas???????

FOLLOW THE FUEL LINE FROM THE GASOLINE TANK UNTIL YOU RUN INTO THE FUEL FILTER. THE FUEL FILTER IS A PLASTIC ROUND CYLINDER TYPE THING WHICH IS USUALLY WHITE IN COLOR WHEN NEW. DISCONNECT THAT AND PULL IT OUT OF THE FUEL LINE. REPLACE IT WITH A NEW ONE. IF PROBLEM PERSIST. TAKE OUT FUEL PUMP AND REBUILD IT. THE FUEL PUMP IS THE ROUND OR PENTAGON METAL SHAPE THING THAT IS ALONG THE FUEL LINES. IF PROBLEM STILL PERSIST AFTER THAT. TAKE OUT CARBURETOR AND REBUILD THAT. THAT SHALL TAKE CARE OF ALL OF YOUR PROBLEM AS DESCRIBED IN YOUR POST. YOU HAVE A FUEL DELIVERY PROBLEM
