I just bought a new 06 Sp 800 and wanted to add the following Hot Seat Performance parts - Go-fast Cam, True Duals, EFI Jet kit and clutch kit. My biggest concern is the cost of labor . I am curious to get a fairly accurate estimate of how many hours it would take to add the parts to my atv. 8, 10, 12, ???

 

what are you going to do race it on the NHRA circuit?

 

I could do all of it in less than 8hrs. But I have plenty of experience.

 

do most of it your self and save the labor cost.

 

i put the hsp camin my 06 800 i had 260 miles on it the difference was on real.it took 10 hours because i cleaned everything like it wasbrand new.if you have any questions just ask lots of great advice on this site.

 

Hey wildwilly, have you raced any Can-am 800's since you had your new cam?

 

i have not raced any but i have out pulled them atthe pulls before i put the cam in and after i put the cam in .

 

how much moore perforcement do you think you gained, and how much fuel milage did you loose? just wondering.

 

performance wise alot . i run 27" gators and it will hit the rev limiter in high gear from dead stop.fuel milage i went from 13-16 down to 8-12 depends wether i have stock tires on or not fuel milage doesn't matter i just bring a gallon along.
