Hi there guys just pulled the engine apart on my 95 400 Scrambler. Originaly I thought i had bad crank bearings. Now it is apparant that the oil pump is in a million pieces. My question is, how much work is it to remove the oil pump. Should it feel as though the the pump is bolted in place? I pulled the gear off the crankshaft and the small plate in behind the pump gear. Don't have foggiest idea what to do next. Do I have to pull parts off elsewhere or does it slide out from behind the timing cover? I am thinking it might be jammed due to the internal problems. Help please.
