I have heard nothing but great things about the CV man, AFTER I bought these! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

I talked to Greg yesterday, He said, maybe I swedged the outboard. Basically, When I put the axle in, I tapped on the end with as hammer to overcome the square cut circlip. He said, If you hit it too hard, the clip could jump out of the groove and the outboard will be pushed in farther than it should be., allowing the axle to now be shorter than designed. I will open the outboard boot for inspection, I do not expect this to be the problem. I didn't have to hit the axles very hard for them to go in. Atleast, I have somewhere to look! My round cut circlips fell out like 7 times, I NEVER used a hammer to install them! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] You know I'll keep ya posted!

Finally got around to tearing the boot off to inspect the CV. The jury is in.................. The outboard cv clip is seated perfectly. So, now I have no idea what to do. I called them back, and as I figured, couldn't talk to anyone. So, I left, what will most likely be, an ignored message. Begging for a return phone call. Someone,..................... anyone,.......................... please help.

My buddies are going riding tomorrow. Me? No I can't go, I have a quad with Gorilla axles in it! Besides, I would just get muddy anyway, what fun is that?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

i think you have to give up on the lemon gorrilas and get ya some from the cv man

 

at least you have a place to ride. all 3 of our riding spots are shut down.
1000 fine, you lose your ride and can get up to a year in jail for destruction of wetlands.
