03 700 plug foul?
#1
I rode yesterday in tight trails. very slow. I started my bike today and had the choke out for like 2 -3 minutes and when I went to go it bogged and I checked the plug and they are black.(not oil fouled) Will the choke out run it that rich to foul the flugs? Anyone else foul a plug?

The way to use a choke is like this:
If it's cold out just pull the choke out enough to light the engine. Once lit, push the choke in slowly and see if it idles. You will be able to tell when it's going to die. When it tries too, just leave it sit a little longer idling on the choke. Only use enough choke to light the engine.
Too much choke will wash down the cylinders and fould plugs and this is never a good thing.

I have the same wheeler and had a problem with the choke plunger not returning all the way. The plunger gets corroded up and wont slide back and forth. I doubt it is the way you are using the choke if you have had this wheeler for awhile and never had a problem before.
