On my last ride the throttle got stiff on my TB 250. Even with the slide out of the carb it is still stiff. I see no kinks or wear on the outside of the cables. The only thing I can think of is maybe the Oil Pump is the problem, but I do not know anything about the oil pump. Any input from anyone would help. I have sprayed the oil pump area with carb cleaner hoping that it was just sand and dirt down there, but nothing is working, and a replacement cable is backordered until Dec. 20th.

Proabably your cable. Try lubing but proabably best to replace if bad. They sell lube kit to keep it lubed but I just replace when stiff.
