main jet should be on the bottom of the carb, in between the floats in the floatbowl

Look down in your snorkal and make sure a piece of that foam didn't break off and go in the tube

the snorkel is clean. maybe the stator isn't advancing the timing enough. I really have no clue and it is agravating

If it runs good at idle but dies out at high throttle, then it is one of 2 things. (Related to fuel) Either the main jet has some trash or something blocking the flow, or you are not getting enough fuel flow to the carb to supply the engine with enough gas. Since you say the plugs are not wet its doubtful its flooding. It's most likely the stator is not the problem. It could be but not likely. Try pulling out the choke when it starts to run rough. Is there any change? Try getting some good carb cleaner like CRC ( as long as it will burn like gas) and spray down the carb intake and see if it will rev up when its running rough. This should tell you if there is a fuel starvation problem and its a pretty simple deal to try. It still could be water or something too. Water can be tough to get rid of sometimes. It should help eliminate it one way or the other. Hope this helps

If you pull the carb check the boot that goes between the carb and cylinder, it may be cracked. This happens a lot.

the boot looked ok. I think the fuel is going in ok. Plugs not wet but black(carbon) like the fuel is there but it won't burn. I put new plugs in and let it run trying to get it to rev up for 2 minutes. I pulled the plugs and they were black. (If there were not enough fuel then they would stay white(lean condition- right?)

I know!! I think when u apply throttle=more fuel it must equal more or hotter spark to burn the extra fuel. I think I am not getting the extra spark boost but I really have no idea at this point.

Did you get your cdi wet? Sounds like it is a spark problem. You don't get any extra boost in spark, but if it's a weak spark then it can do what your describing.
