I made a post reguarding how deep you had to go to get the front end to float on you 6x6. But what is weired is the post was made a day before FloodRunner and your post today yet it appears after yall's post today. Well any way, how deep did you go when the front started to float??????
Thanks,
Ryan

Thanks Duckman, that’s about what I figured. Payload of the machine aside, the size (and relationship) of the riders compared to the size of the seat is what’s going to determine the comfort level.

Personally, If I were given the choice of riding double or staying home, I’d stay home. Riding double is legal here in WI but it’s rare that we see people do it. At last Memorial Day’s ATV Rally up in Hurley there were many double riders, two of whom found their way into our group for a day. We’re long distance riders and both my wife and I kept thinking how uncomfortable both rider and passenger must have been.

But we have friends who love the outdoors but have never experienced riding. I was thinking this machine as a spare/utility/camp mule could also “loaned out” to friends, maybe couples, who’d like to try our number one source of recreation. Does it sound like I’m grabbing at straws trying to justify this new toy? Maybe ;-}

duckman, I'd love to see a picture of your "custom" rack if you have one.

Outlawd what do you plan to do with the 6x6? I thought you were on the west coast-are you going to use it for mud or hard pack, rocks, etc?

I would use it in the terrain found out here in the west- Deserts, sand, and rocks. I'm pretty much decided that I like the 500ho better anyway.
