Not sure. You might visit hpd-inc or hotseatperformance website and get their # and give them a call.

With a little fitting possible, it will fit.
I put a '98 400 Explorer Aaen Midrange pipe on my '03 400 TrailBlazer. Just had to add a little heat wrap around pipe near rear fender because it touched plastic. Now I have a Chrome HPD top end pipe on the '03 that was for a '99 Sport 400.............They must be all the same!

I want a 700 Prairie Kawie

I am confused. I called Aaen and asked if it would fit since it has a different part #. They let me talk to some shop manager and he said that any of the 400's pipes should interchange.

I called Ritter cycle and he said that they were routed differently and would not interchange.

I just do not know......

Looks like if one pipe would work on both then they would just sell one pipe??????

That is what I thought. Why would they complicate their system with two pipes when just one would work.

An Explorer pipe is created with a different power band in mind than a Scrambler pipe is, so hence different part numbers.

R U sure U want to detune your Scrambler with a Explorer pipe even if they did fit? I am pretty sure there is a frame difference involved here also, but not much of one. I would gather they would fit with some slight tweaking, cause I have read where ppl used a Scrambler pipe to update there Explorers in the past.

If U did this anyway U would have to rejet accordlingly and do some clutch work de-tuning the Scrambler after an Explorer pipe was placed on it.

Why R U asking this anyway, degrade the pipe power band on a Scrambler if I may ask?

This is an Aaen pipe and silencer kit. The guy also has the clutch kit with it.

I "thought" that it would be a 10Hp improvement.

After some more internet research I decided that it will not fit without some major mods. For one the silencer on the Explorer bolts on with one mount on top, the scrambler bolts on with two- one on each end of the silencer. The headpipe looks to be coming out at a different angle than on the scrambler.

I remember discussing this on the phone . The question is will an Aaen Explorer pipe fit a scrambler .

IF you had the Explorer exhaust manifold , factory U-bend then it MIGHT . (Notice use of words IF & MIGHT) The problem that may present itself is coming around the frame up front , I am not sure if the it would clear. IF it did fit the power would be increased , the Aaen expansion chamber would make more power than the original , the tuning specs between an Aaen Scrambler torker pipe and an Aaen Explorer pipe are I am sure very similar , in a nutshell - IF it fit , it would run and tune just fine .

Using the factory S-bend and manifold from a Scrambler and trying to hook a Aaen Explorer pipe to it I can assure you WILL NOT work .

Just trying to help ~ Rick Ritter

PS - Handycap has done this it looks like - Handycap - did you use a Explorer U-bend and manifold ?
